Life Foundations Academy – Statement of Faith
Our Position on Evolution and Biology:
We believe that God is the Creator of all life, and that every creature was made uniquely and with intention. While we acknowledge microevolution—small-scale variation within species over time—we reject macroevolution as a scientifically probable or theologically sound explanation for the origin of new species or life forms.
Our biology course is built on the view that life did not evolve through random, unguided processes but was purposefully designed by a Creator. The theory of common ancestry and the evolutionary framework that undergirds much of modern biology is challenged throughout the course, and students are equipped to engage with mainstream claims from a biblical worldview.
We do not take a strong stance on the age of the Earth in this course. Since the focus is biology—not geology—topics like Young Earth vs. Old Earth are not emphasized. We welcome families with a range of views on Earth’s age, so long as they affirm God as Creator.
Core Beliefs:
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, and the final authority for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
God exists eternally in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return in glory (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
Salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not earned by works (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Science and faith are not in conflict. We believe that scientific study should be rooted in the awe of God as Creator, and that Christian students should be equipped to question secular assumptions while pursuing academic excellence (Psalm 111:2; Romans 1:20).
Parents are the primary disciplers of their children. Our role is to support families with open-and-go, Christ-centered curriculum that blends deep learning with spiritual growth (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
